Particularly in the Late Fall, Winter and Early Spring, in Florida, we encourage holistic golfers to walk 9-18 holes, as much as possible.
Did you know: 10,000 steps of walking per day, according to the British Journal of Health, at 3 miles per hour, maximizes fat burning.
Walking while playing golf helps you to focus on thinking about the critical aspects of the game. Research has shown this will factor into lower scores!
You probably want to invest in some of the more athletic spikeless golf shoes to make your walking experiance more enjoyable.
Remember, drink approximately half your body weight in ounces of filtered water per day (and especially when you play golf and workout in the gym). Oh, and don't worry about sweating. It helps to detoxify your brain and body quicker. Why wouldn't you? Let's do this!
